Delmer Munkberg Family

The Delmer E. Munkberg Memorial Scholarship was established by his wife Dorothy Munkberg and their children and it was the first permanently endowed scholarship established in the Cambridge-Isanti Dollars for Scholars Foundation. Delmer believed in a life long education and he and his wife felt that students should be provided the opportunity to pursue additional education whether it be at the college or vocational technical level.

Robert and Julie Parker

The Parkers believed it was necessary to have more than a high school education to survive in the work world. The Parkers enjoyed being involved in the Cambridge community and helping students. Mr. Parker's philosophy was to leave the world a better place by doing things for others through his talents. By being involved in the Cambridge-Isanti Dollars for Scholars Foundation he successfully accomplished this goal.

Robert and Joyce Becklin

Bob and Joyce Becklin have been involved in the Cambridge community for many years and believe that education is a lifetime experience where new things are learned everyday. As contributors to Cambridge-Isanti Dollars for Scholars Foundation they want to do all they can to help students of Cambridge-Isanti High School.

Harland and Elaine Johnson

Harland Johnson was a former Cambridge High School Principal, and because he valued education so much, he enjoyed being able to contribute to the Cambridge-Isanti Dollars for Scholars Foundation. Harland felt that many students were not able to reach their full potential in life because they didn't have the necessary resources to continue their education. As Harland said, "Our present list of scholarships does not cover the long list of deserving students."
